SIAE 2027 Exhibitor Protection is an official solution, set up with the show's organiser, distributed by a regulated French insurance broker, and underwritten by a European insurer. Here is who does what.

SIAE / GIFAS
The Paris Air Show (Salon International de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace) is organised by a subsidiary of GIFAS (Groupement des Industries Françaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales — the French aerospace industries association). Its 56th edition takes place from – at the Parc des Expositions de Paris-Le Bourget.
SIAE welcomes more than 2,400 exhibitors and 300,000 visitors from around 50 countries. GIFAS has appointed VAX CONSEILS to offer exhibitors an official, opt-in cancellation-insurance coverage.

VAX CONSEILS
VAX CONSEILS is a French company licensed as an insurance broker (société de courtage en assurances), registered with ORIAS under no. 14006059 and supervised by the French ACPR (4 Place de Budapest, 75009 Paris, France).
VAX handles distribution of the coverage, registration of subscriptions, collection of premiums, issuance of contracts, as well as human support for subscription and claim handling. Activity carried out under article L520-1 II b of the French Code des assurances.

Cooper Gay SAS, based at 55 rue Pierre Charron, 75008 Paris, France, acts under binding authority FID-COG2026-RS on behalf of Fidelidade Companhia de Seguros SA. Cooper Gay structures the cancellation-insurance contract and issues the contractual documents.

Fidelidade
Fidelidade Companhia de Seguros SA, whose French office is located at Tour Aurore, 18 Place des Reflets, 92976 Paris-La Défense Cedex, France, is the insurer carrying the risk. Fidelidade is supervised by the ASF (Autoridade de Supervisão de Seguros e Fundos de Pensões — the Portuguese insurance and pension funds regulator).

An arrangement designed with the show's organiser.
For its part, SIAE has put in place dedicated insurance mechanisms intended to protect the organisation of the show in the event of a major event affecting it.
Exhibitors who have subscribed to the official "Exhibitor Cancellation" solution benefit from a dedicated arrangement with these mechanisms, with a view to facilitating — in certain exceptional situations — the mobilisation of any refund or support mechanisms that may be activated by the organiser or its insurers. Each situation is assessed individually against the contract conditions.
