Scope of the contract
"All risks except exclusions" coverage for your participation costs.
The contract covers the irrecoverable costs incurred or owed in case of cancellation, abandonment or postponement of your participation in SIAE 2027, together with reasonable additional expenses incurred to prevent an insured loss or to contain its cost.
Object of coverage
Reimbursement, on supporting evidence, of irrecoverable participation costs.
In the event of interruption or cancellation of your participation in the insured event, the insurer guarantees, on supporting evidence and within the limit of your insured amount:
- reimbursement of the irrecoverable participation costs incurred or owed (stand, technical services, fittings, transport, logistics);
- reimbursement of the additional expenses reasonably incurred, in agreement with the insurer, to prevent the occurrence of an insured loss or contain its cost.
A proportional rule applies if the ratio between declared amounts and amounts actually engaged exceeds 20% (article 6 of the special conventions).
Cover extensions
The situations specifically covered by the contract.

Terrorism and acts of terrorism
Consequences of a terrorist act preventing the insured from reaching Le Bourget by any means of transport, provided the act occurs within 15 days before the show.

Instruction from the French state
Situations where an exhibitor is prevented from participating following an administrative decision, government restriction, instruction from French authorities, or a measure affecting exhibitors of certain nationalities. Assessed case by case.

Unavailability of staff or of a key person
Unavailability of staff required to operate the stand, and an option to cover a key person declared at subscription (death, accident, illness, family bereavement, criminal abduction, certain transport delays).

Logistics, customs, transport
Difficulties relating to the transport of goods or staff (delays, loss, breakdown), customs blockages of equipment, difficulty accessing the site.

Changes in circumstances
Late modification of show conditions (rules, locations, costs) making participation impossible or unduly unfavourable. Technological failure of a prototype or digital equipment. Technical incompatibility of the stand (size, electrical supply).

Funding default / sponsor withdrawal
Unforeseen withdrawal of funding through the default of a sponsor or investor, subject to the contractual conditions.

Any other justified cause
Beyond the extensions listed above, the contract follows an 'all risks except exclusions' logic: any other justified cause, outside the exhibitor's control and not explicitly excluded, may be considered.
Exclusions
Situations explicitly not covered.
Exclusions are presented in clear terms, in line with the programme's pedagogical principle.
- General cancellation of the show by the Organiser or public authorities (covered by the SIAE's own organiser policy).
- Illness caused by SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV, SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) coronaviruses and any of their mutations.
- Viral or bacterial epidemics or pandemics subject to a state of public health emergency declared by a State or by the WHO, leading to binding and restrictive measures.
- Direct or indirect consequences of a cybercriminal act or cybersecurity incident, including the fear or threat of such an act.
- War, subject to the applicable contractual terms.
- Sanctions, embargoes and legal restrictions applicable to the broker, agent, insurer or reinsurer (sanction clause).
